The 2000 Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama ended with a score of 9–0 in favor of Auburn. The game took place on November 18, 2000 at Bryant–Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, marking the first time the two teams had met in Tuscaloosa since 1901. Auburn's three field goals were enough to defeat the 3–7 Alabama Crimson Tide, ending Mike Dubose's final game as Alabama's head coach. The game also marked the last time Alabama has been shut out in a game.
